Kitchen Remodeling in Kent, WA

Kitchen tile, backsplash and flooring installed with the prep done right

A backsplash or new floor can make a kitchen look new, if the layout is planned and the surface underneath is prepared properly. That's the part we don't rush.

Tile and flooring are where a remodel either looks sharp or looks rushed. Uneven grout lines, cut tiles in the wrong spot and floors that flex or crack almost always come back to prep and planning, not the material.

We install kitchen backsplashes, kitchen floors and tile as part of a larger kitchen remodel or as their own project. If your flooring should continue into the dining room or hallway, we can handle that too through our interior flooring work.

Kitchen tile and flooring work

Backsplash tile
Layouts centered on windows, range hoods and outlets so cuts land where they look intentional.
Kitchen floor tile
Floor prep, layout and setting for durable, easy-to-clean kitchen floors.
Other kitchen flooring
Flooring options suited to kitchens, installed with transitions to adjoining rooms.
Subfloor and surface prep
Leveling and repairing what's underneath so the finished floor stays flat and solid.
Trim and transitions
Baseboards, shoe molding and thresholds finished so the kitchen ties into the rest of the house.

Before you pick tile

  • Floors before or after cabinets?

It depends on the flooring and the project. We'll plan the sequence so the floor isn't trapped or left with gaps at cabinet edges.

  • Tile size and your walls

Large tiles look clean but show uneven walls and floors. Smaller tiles are more forgiving. We'll tell you what your surfaces can handle.

  • Where the flooring stops

Kitchens often open into other rooms. Decide early whether the new floor runs through or transitions at a doorway.

  • Outlets and switches

Backsplash tile changes the wall surface, so outlets and switches may need extenders or relocation for a clean finish.

What kitchen remodeling clients say

5.0 stars from 47 Google reviews. Read more reviews

We had our kitchen, railings, and closet areas renovated, all while continuing to live in the house - and the team made this experience incredibly smooth for us. They were considerate of our daily routine and never caused us any inconvenience. Since we couldn't use our kitchen during the renovation, they even brought a portable stove to ensure we could still cook - a thoughtful gesture that truly shows their dedication to client comfort.

Every member of the team was meticulous, respectful, creative, and highly focused on problem solving. They treated our home as if it were their own, with careful attention to every detail. Challenges were handled with transparency and courtesy, and we were consistently informed of the progress. Watching the transformation day by day was genuinely impressive.

Thank you very much for everything. We almost didn't want the project to end and are already looking forward to working together again!

Kitchen Tile & Flooring questions

Something else on your mind? Call (206) 960-3383.
  • Can you install a backsplash without replacing countertops?

Often, yes. If your countertops are staying, we'll protect them during the work and plan the tile to meet them cleanly.

  • Can the new kitchen floor continue into other rooms?

Yes. Flooring is part of our interior improvements work, so we can carry the same floor into a dining area, hallway or living room.

  • Do you fix uneven subfloors?

Surface prep is part of doing tile and flooring right. We'll look at the floor during your estimate and include any prep work the install needs.
