Bathroom Remodeling in Kent, WA

New vanities and fixtures that make a bathroom work better

The vanity, faucet, mirror and lighting are what you use every morning. Swapping them out, or rethinking them, can change a bathroom without a full gut remodel.

Double vanity with arched mirrors, wall sconces and matte black faucets

Not every bathroom needs to be taken down to the studs. If the shower is in good shape, a new vanity, top and fixtures can make the room look and work much better. In a full remodel, the vanity is one of the main design decisions.

We install vanities, sinks, faucets, toilets and other bathroom fixtures, and coordinate them with the tile, flooring and paint around them so the room looks finished, not patched.

Vanity and fixture work

Vanity replacement
Removing the old vanity and installing a new one, level and secured to the wall.
Vanity tops and sinks
Tops, sinks and faucets installed with clean caulk lines and tested connections.
Toilets
Toilet replacement set properly on the floor.
Shower and tub fixtures
Shower heads, valves trim, tub spouts and handles updated to match.
Accessories and mirrors
Mirrors, towel bars and hooks placed where they're actually useful.
Wall and floor touch-ups
Patching and painting where old fixtures leave gaps or marks behind.

Picking a vanity

  • Size and clearance

A bigger vanity isn't better if the door hits it. Measure walkways and door swings, not just the wall.

  • Single or double sink

Two sinks help busy mornings; one sink with more counter space can be more useful. It depends on who uses the room.

  • Floor under the old vanity

Many bathroom floors stop at the old vanity. A new vanity with a different footprint may need flooring work too.

  • Finishes that match

Pick faucet, shower trim and hardware finishes together so the room reads as one design.

Paul and all the crew did a wonderful job on our condo primary bathroom remodel. Time frame we were quoted was on time and on budget. We will contact Homez when we are ready for any more remodeling. We recommend them!

Vanities & Fixtures questions

Something else on your mind? Call (206) 960-3383.
  • Can I update the vanity without remodeling the whole bathroom?

Yes. Vanity and fixture updates are a common smaller project. We'll check whether the flooring and wall behind the old vanity need attention too.

  • Can you move the vanity or sink location?

Moving a sink involves relocating plumbing. We'll look at your bathroom during the estimate and explain what's involved for your layout.

  • Do you install bathroom lighting and mirrors?

Mirrors and accessories are part of our fixture work. Let us know what lighting changes you have in mind and we'll cover it in your estimate.
